Learning for life

Usually a child starts school at the age of six, which depends on the birth date of the child. This means, that for example, a child also can go to school on the 7th birthday.

To go to school is an important period in a child’s life. A new stage of life begins. When a child visited the playschool before, it is much easier for a schoolchild to get in contact with other children.

With the first day at school the child is included in primary school. In the primary school the schoolchild will be trained in basic knowledge. This means that the child learns to write, read and learns numeracy. To be sure the children will be trained in other subjects as handicrafts, music and drawing. The primary school contains the first to the fourth class. Normally the classes are built with children, who are distinguished into age-groups.

Schoolchildren in primary school need a psychological parent. For this reason there is frequently only one teacher as class teacher for the whole time in primary school. Usually such teachers only teach two subjects and are not able to answer questions to other subjects which cause criticism from experts.

As well for parents is the enrolment in primary school a particular challenge. The schoolchild needs backup. Many questions have to be answered. Maybe some parents feel overextended. However with a bit of research the biggest problem will be solved. Advantage is fixed times for homework, learning and playing. The schoolchild can get used to the situation that learning before pleasure, which affects positive in the years to come.
